These are a few of my favorite things...

I can't decide what the best part of driving to Utah was.  It's a toss up between...

Getting up at 4:00 am

#3 yakking 4 times and the subsequent stench of vomit for the next 12 hours

Trying to sneak dramamine into #1's ice cream which she immediately tasted and spit out

Putting #1 and #2 in time out in the weeds of an exit ramp

Wanting to put Spouse in time out in the weeds of an exit ramp

Consuming at least 40,000 calories of candy, chocolate and fry sauce from Big Al's Burgers at the Junction in Kanab

or

Finally arriving at 10:30 p.m.

Wanting to put spouse in time out. Ha ha ha ha! I wonder how many times my spouse has wanted to put me in time out.

So are you in Utah then?

I was wondering how your trek was? Glad to hear it was a big success!!! I can hear Julie Andrews singing now.

Oh, so sorry! That sounds miserable (and I'm sure it smelt about the same too).

Ouch. I love that you wanted to put Spouse in time-out. I feel that way too sometimes. It's good to know that other families have as much fun as we do on road trips!

Sometimes spouse needs that timeout. Glad you made it!

Hahaha. Hilarious. Boy, can I relate. My Ethan barfed on the way down to AZ from UT this past week. So fun to clean-up and smell.

So did you leave at 4 or wake up at 4? Cause 18 hours is an obsecene amount of time to get to Utah!! :) My kids have become occasionally car sick too, and it's AWEFUL!! I come prepared with an extra cup or bowl now, so sad. I crushed the dramamine into a spoonful of yogurt and ice-cream (on the way home) and it worked out nicely this last trip... oh, the things we do!

Oh how many times have I wanted to put my own spouse in a time out on road trips!

Glad you survived. Long drives are brutal with 3 kids!

Attn: WOKE up at 4, we didn't hit the road until about 6:15. And lest you think we are total gluttons for punishment, our destination was about 2 hours north of Provo. And one more defense for our long day: in AZ time we arrived at 9:30.

Cygnus - yes, in UT til end of July - we gotta beat the heat.

Priceless. Hope your time in UT is good enough to make you forget about the drive before you head back.
